Trinne Berthold

 

Trine Berthold (1973) is a Partner Associate in Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects (Denmark) and Member of the Danish Association of Architects. Trine has been with Schmidt Hammer Lassen in Aarhus since 2003 and was appointed associate partner in 2006. After Trine’s graduation from the Aarhus School of Architecture (1998), she worked five years for 3XN architects in Aarhus, where she mainly worked on concept development in competitions. For the period 2014-2017 Trine has been holding the position as vice dean of the Aarhus School of Architecture. At Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, Trine has been involved in and responsible for several architectural competitions. One of the biggest projects which was realized lately with Trine worked as design responsible architec is DOKK1, the 30,000 sq. large public library, which is placed in the port of Aarhus. Another library project is the Karlshamn Culture House in Sweden, which will be built in near future. A third project that has been a great success for Trine is the Sir Duncan Rice Library at University of Aberdeen, which won the first prize in an international competition in 2005. The library was inaugurated in 2011 in the presence of HM Queen Elisabeth. Trine is engaged in idea development of alternative housing – including sustainability in housing projects, with among others a proposal for the new visionary green dwellings “The gardens” in Jelling, Denmark.

 

Trine Berthold (1973) je arhitekta partner u Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects iz Aarhusu (Danska) i član Danskog udruženja arhitekata. Trine je dio Schmidt Hammer Lassen od 2003. godine, a 2006. je postala partener. Nakon što je diplomirala na arhitektonskom fakultetu u Aarhausu (Aarhus School of Architecture) , Trinie je narednih pet godina bila dio 3XN arhitekatonskog studija u Aarhusu, gdje je uglavnom radila na razvoju konceptualnih ideja i konkursnim riješenjema. U periodu 2014-2017 Trine je bila na poziciji prodekana arhitektonskog fakulteta u Aarhusu. U Schmidt Hammer Lassen studiju, Trine je bila uključena i odgovorna za nekoliko arhitektonskih konkursa. Jedan od najznačajnijih projekata nedavno realizovanih, na kojem je Trinie radila kao odgovorni projektant, je DOKK1-  30.000 m2 velika javna biblioteka u Aarhusu. Drugi je projekat za zgradu biblioteke Karlshamn Culture House u Švedskoj, čija izgradnja se planira u bliskoj budućnosti. Treći projekt koji je veliki uspjeh za Trine je Sir Duncan Rice biblioteka Univerziteta u Aberdeenu. Ovaj projekat je osvojio prvu nagradu na međunarodnom kunkursu 2005. godine, dok je zgrada biblioteke otvorena od strane njenog veličanstva kraljice Elizabete 2011. godine. Trine se bavi i razvojem ideja o vidovima alternativnog smještaja, uključujući održivosti stambenih projekata. Među ovim projektima istuče se prijedlog za nove vizionarske zelene stanove „Vrtovi” u Jellingu, Danska.
